Often times we find ourselves struggling with consistently putting forth effort into our goals and dreams. The problem is our priorities. Quickly pause on reading this article and write down all the things you usually do when you are procrastinating or not focusing on the one thing you are suppose to be focusing on. Now take a look at what you’ve written because these are the things your brain has labeled priorities. Now you know why you repeatedly break away from doing your important tasks. Your brain has labeled that task as unimportant or harmful to your happiness so it diverts all attention to whatever else it can find. I would constantly find myself watching TV or playing video games before I did my homework. Later will discuss how I turned this around.
